A special doa and Iftar Mahfil was held today, March 2, 2026, at Mozammel Market in Nababpur, Dhaka, in honor of prominent local businessmen. Organized by the Business Department of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Shahbagh Purba Thana, the event brought together various local leaders and members of the trading community to observe the sanctity of Ramadan.

The program was graced by Ahsan Habib, member of the Majlis-e-Shura of Dhaka City South and Ameer of Shahbagh Purba Thana, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of honesty in business and urged the community to reflect the teachings of Islam in their professional lives.

Special guests included Advocate Raihan Uddin, a senior lawyer at the Dhaka Judge Court, and Md. Omar Faruk, member of the Shura and Executive Council of Shahbagh Purba Thana and President of Gulistan South Ward. The event was presided over by Md. Amir Hamza, President of the Business Department. The gathering concluded with a special prayer for the peace, prosperity, and welfare of the nation and the Muslim Ummah.
