India's relations with neighboring countries are not good: BNP
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that not only Bangladesh, but their relations with neighboring countries are not good because of India's dominance policy.
He made this comment after paying his respects at the grave of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman in Sherebangla Nagar of the capital on Monday (September 9). This tribute was paid on the occasion of the 46th founding anniversary of the women's team.
Mirza Fakhrul said that they understand well the behavior and politics of India with the neighboring countries, how they are doing it in any context. But unfortunately we can see not only Bangladesh but India's relations with neighboring countries are not going very well. One of the main reasons is that India has always followed a hegemony policy with neighboring countries. Which will not augur well for India and neighboring countries. So we think that this relationship should be built on the basis of mutual respect and interest.
Secretary General of BNP said, we have met the chief advisers of the interim government and their members twice. Every time I have told them to announce the reforms they want to bring before the people. To schedule their reforms so that elections can be held at a reasonable time. I have requested that the power of the people can be handed over to the people.
Mentioning that many people gave their lives in the Awami fascist movement, Mirza Fakhrul said that women, children, students, all gave their lives to liberate the country from dictatorship.
BNP Standing Committee Member Selima Rahman, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, Mahila Dal President Afroza Abbas, Sultana Ahmed etc.
