Emraan Hashmi, playing the character of Shivam Pandit in the sequel of Awarapan, has charged Rs 10-12 crore, becoming the highest-paid actor of the movie.

His fee for the first part of the movie in 2007 was Rs 1.2-1.5 crore.

Disha Patani has charged around Rs 5 crore for her acting, whereas veteran actress Shabana Azmi has charged between Rs 2-5 crore for her character who will be playing an antagonist in the movie. However, the fees of supporting actors such as Suvinder Vicky and Vijayant Kohli have been withheld from view.

The storyline of the sequel takes the story of Shivam Pandit to another level with new characters and new circumstances.

Contrary to the first movie of Awarapan, which was directed by Mohit Suri, the second part of Awarapan will be directed by Nitin Kakkar with Bilal Siddiqi writing the storyline of the movie.
