A day-long training workshop titled "Coding and Decoding of Exam Scripts" was held for all faculty members across departments at Pabna Science and Technology University (PUST). Organized on Tuesday (October 13) by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at the university's Gallery-2, the workshop aimed to provide practical understanding and technical guidelines for the coding method, which ensures that an examinee's identity remains completely anonymous during evaluation, preventing any partiality, ensuring absolute transparency, and speeding up result publication.

Presiding over the inaugural session, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abul Hasanal Md. Shamim emphasized that evaluation must be conducted with utmost responsibility and transparency, noting that a single error can ruin a student's life. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam highlighted that coding and decoding will eliminate complexities and ensure faster result publication, while Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Ahsan announced an increase in remuneration for grading scripts through this method.

The session featured welcome remarks by IQAC Director Professor Dr. Shamim Reza and was conducted by ICT Cell Director Professor Dr. Abdur Rahim as the resource person.
