Marking the Sharadiya Durga Puja festival, Member of Parliament for Naogaon-3 (Mahadevpur-Badalgachhi) constituency, Md. Fazle Huda Babul, distributed sarees and lungis among underprivileged Hindu men and women from across Mahadevpur Upazila.

The distribution event was held on Sunday afternoon (October 18, 2026) at the Jahangirpur Model High School ground with support from the Upazila Puja Udjapan Front. Presided over by Upazila Puja Udjapan Front Convener Sri Ratan Kumar Mondal, the program was attended by prominent local leaders including Upazila BNP Senior Vice President Md. Jaharul Islam, former General Secretary and Upazila Chairman Abdus Sattar Nannu, Upazila BNP Organizational Secretary Sajjad Hossain and S. M. Abdul Hannan, along with local BNP and Krishak Dal leaders.

Altogether, 900 underprivileged individuals—comprising ten men and women from each ward across the upazila's ten unions—received new garments funded entirely through MP Fazle Huda Babul's personal initiative to spread festive cheer among impoverished families during the celebrations.
