
The world's longest sea beach, Cox's Bazar, is set to host its first-ever three-month-long "Cox's Bazar Tourism Carnival 2026," running from November 1 to January 31, 2027.
This announcement was made during a press conference on Wednesday at the Tourism Building in Agargaon, Dhaka. Organized by the Bangladesh Tourism Corporation and operated by Spellbound Communications Limited, the festival will take place across the expansive beach and Casuarina forest grounds of Hotel Shaibal.
Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman Md. Shamimuzzaman attended as the chief guest, stating that the international-standard carnival aims to showcase Cox's Bazar uniquely to foreign tourists and increase international arrivals.
The festival will feature diverse attractions including food zones with local and international cuisine, market zones, craft villages, kids' zones, beach camping, live art galleries, open-sky movie theatres, VR zones, circus tents, kayaking, go-karting, beach football, and volleyball.
