Actress Keya Payel speaking to reporters at the Liberation War Museum Civic Auditorium in Dhaka during the premiere of the Chorki original film Happily Married.

Popular television and OTT actress Keya Payel addressed fan curiosity regarding her personal life and views on marriage during the premiere screening of her upcoming web film Happily Married at the Liberation War Museum Civic Auditorium in Dhaka.

Clarifying earlier social media speculation from mid-July when a post reading "Happily Married" alongside actor Arifin Shuvoo sparked marriage rumors, Payel explained that the announcement pertained to their on-screen collaboration in the latest film under Chabial and Chorki's 'Ministry of Love' project. Responding to journalists at the premiere on Tuesday, Payel stated that trust and mutual respect form the foundation of any lasting relationship, adding that she prioritizes an individual's character over their geographic origin or district background. Directed by Jahid Preetom, Happily Married is scheduled for release on the OTT platform Chorki at midnight on October 7 (October 8, 2026). The release date announcement has generated significant buzz across digital platforms among fans eager to see the on-screen pairing of Arifin Shuvoo and Keya Payel.
