
Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn has shattered box office records as his highly anticipated crime thriller Drishyam 3: The Conclusion registered an unprecedented opening day performance following its global theatrical release on Friday (October 2, 2026).
According to trade monitoring platform Sacnilk, the final installment of the acclaimed franchise earned a net domestic collection of ₹66.75 crore across India on its first day, representing an Indian gross collection of ₹80.10 crore. Combined with an international box office gross of ₹15 crore, Drishyam 3 recorded a staggering opening day worldwide gross of ₹95.10 crore—marking the biggest single-day opening of Ajay Devgn’s career. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the 2.5-hour finale brings back Devgn’s iconic character Vijay Salgaonkar alongside powerful performances from Tabu as Meera Deshmukh and Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Rajveer Singh. The opening performance completely eclipses its predecessors, with the original 2015 Drishyam collecting ₹5.85 crore net and 2022's Drishyam 2 grossing ₹15.38 crore net on their respective opening days.
