Leading South Indian cinema stars Junior NTR and Vijay Deverakonda have voiced severe condemnation following the deepfake alteration of the viral hit song "Chuttamalle" featuring Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor and Junior NTR.

Expressing outrage over the unauthorized artificial intelligence manipulation of the music video, Junior NTR warned of strict legal action against the perpetrators. Joining the outcry, actor Vijay Deverakonda publicly backed Junior NTR, characterizing the deepfake abuse as a form of "digital sexual harassment" and calling for exemplary punishment against those responsible. Deverakonda strongly criticized the insensitive misuse of generative AI technologies to defame public figures and artists, labeling the act as "sick-minded, disgusting, and shameless." The actors urged social media users not to view or share the altered clip and called on state and central authorities to formulate stringent policy frameworks to curb AI-driven image abuse and digital harassment across platforms.
