Actress Pori Moni has condemned the attack on actress Azmeri Haque Badhon in Venice, Italy.
According to reports, Badhon was attacked in a park in Mestre when she was with her brother and a little kid. There is a viral video in which one can see several individuals verbally attacking her and assaulting her physically, and there are cries of fear from the little kid in the video.
Posting the video, Pori Moni commented, “The cry of a human baby doesn’t matter to them. It never did.”
Later, Badhon revealed that she was physically assaulted, and Coke and water were thrown at her and that her mobile phone was taken away. She has condemned the assault and registered a complaint with the police in Venice.
There has been an outburst of condemnation from artists and netizens regarding the assault.
