Mikel Arteta has committed his long-term future to Arsenal after officially signing a new contract extension that will keep him at the North London club until June 2030.
The 44-year-old manager’s previous agreement was set to expire at the end of the current season. Under the terms of the extension, Arteta receives a significant pay increase exceeding £10 million per year alongside a £5 million performance-related bonus package, solidifying his position among the Premier League's highest-paid managers. First appointed in December 2019, Arteta’s new deal will take his managerial tenure at the Emirates Stadium past the ten-year mark. Expressing his enthusiasm after signing, Arteta highlighted his ambition for continuous success with Arsenal, stating that the achievements delivered so far represent "only the beginning" of what the team can accomplish together.
