The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed on Wednesday (September 30, 2026) that, following consultations with FC Barcelona’s medical staff, the technical committee decided to release Raphinha from the squad as a precautionary measure to prevent further aggravation. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti will not call up a replacement for the Kolkata fixture.
