
With the slogan "One Country, One QR; BANGLA QR in Transactions," a campaign titled 'Cashless Hili Charmatha' was held in Hili, Dinajpur, to promote cashless and digital transactions.
Organized by the Hili Sub-Branch of Pubali Bank PLC, a meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Charmatha intersection of Hili Land Port. During the event, general customers and local traders were informed about how scanning QR codes provides a convenient, secure, and smart alternative to cash transactions. This initiative aims to expand digital transactions in the border area and advance the goal of building a Cashless Bangladesh.
Following the meeting, a rally was brought out to raise awareness about digital and cashless transactions using Bangla QR code. The rally paraded through various streets before concluding at the starting point. Bank officials and local conscious citizens participated in the campaign conducted across the Hili Charmatha area.
Chaired by Deepak Chandra Roy, Principal Officer and Manager of Pubali Bank's Hili Sub-Branch, the event was attended by prominent merchant of Charmatha intersection Rashedul Islam, along with other local business leaders and bank officials.
