Country’s quadruple-land port Banglabandha in Panchagarh has resumed its commercial operations following a long vacation for Sharadiya Durga Puja, the primary religious festival of the Sanatan religion community.
The matter was confirmed on Sunday (October 25) morning by Abul Kalam Azad, Manager and In-charge of Banglabandha Landport Limited. He stated that commercial trade had been temporarily suspended for eight days, including weekend holidays, following a joint decision by importers, exporters, C&F agents, and port authorities of both countries for Durga Puja. Following the eight-day break, import and export activities at the port resumed in full swing from 9:00 AM today, October 25 (Sunday). However, during this period, the movement of passport and visa-holding passengers between the two countries remained normal.
