The 30th Plot Allocation and Management Committee meeting of BISIC was held at 4:00 PM on Monday (October 12, 2026) at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner in Munshiganj.

The meeting was presided over by Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Syeda Nurmahal Ashrafi. It was attended by industrial entrepreneurs, BISIC Deputy Manager Mahfuzur Rahman, Additional District Commissioner (General) Md. Mahmudur Rahman Khondokar, and other relevant department officials.

To dynamize production activities within the industrial zone, decisions were taken regarding the collection of arrears in service charges, land development taxes, and water bills, as well as reviving closed industrial factories. Emphasizing environmental balance alongside industrialization, the meeting underscored the proper implementation of waste management systems.

Furthermore, the committee called for coordinated initiatives between Upazila Nirbahi Officers and industrial owners to resolve existing complexities regarding the collection of holding taxes and the issuance of trade licenses for industrial establishments. To strengthen an investment-friendly environment, the meeting stressed holding Plot Allocation and Management Committee meetings every four months to oversee overall management, plot allocation activities, and resolve related issues.
