A daring robbery took place at the house of a teacher in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. At this time, there are allegations that cash, gold ornaments, and other valuables worth approximately Tk 20 lakh were looted. The teacher's father was injured in the attack by the robbers.

The incident occurred around 2:30 AM on Tuesday (October 20) in the Mallikbari area of the upazila.

Samiul Islam, an assistant teacher at Halimunnesa Chowdhurani Memorial Girls' High School and a member of the victimized family, stated that he was not at home at the time of the incident. His father, mother, elder brother, sister-in-law, and sister were at home.

He alleged that a gang of robbers broke into the house at night, smashed the locks of wardrobes and furniture in various rooms, and looted cash, gold ornaments, and valuable items. At that time, his father's head was struck with a local weapon, leaving him bleeding and unable to speak normally.

However, the members of the victimized family could not confirm the exact number of members in the robber gang.
