The outbreak of dengue is continuously worsening in the Rohingya camps. From January 1 to October 5 of this year, a total of 2,882 dengue patients have been identified across the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar, with 10 Rohingya individuals having died from the disease (including 4 adults and 6 children).

According to the report from the Cox's Bazar Civil Surgeon's Office, a total of 5,033 dengue cases have been recorded across the entire district during this period. In the latest 24 hours, 32 new dengue patients were identified in the district—including one Rohingya—and 28 patients were admitted to hospitals.
