With the slogan "Clean Environment, Dengue-Free Devhata," the Devhata Upazila Association in Dhaka organized an awareness rally and exchange meeting at the Parulia bus stand on Thursday morning (October 22, 2026) to raise public awareness against dengue in Satkhira's Devhata.

Presided over by Devhata Association Vice President Riyajul Islam Hasan and conducted by Fair Mission Director Abdul Kader Mohiuddin, the event featured speeches from BNP district convening committee member Sheikh Sirajul Islam, Mohiuddin Siddiqui, Bangla Academy Deputy Director and Fair Mission Dhaka branch president Dr.

Shahed Montaz, and Parulia Union Chairman Md. Golam Faruk Babu, among others. Speakers urged citizens to follow government guidelines, maintain clean surroundings, prevent water accumulation in discarded tires, pots, and drums, use mosquito nets and repellents, and wear full-sleeved clothing. Following the meeting, awareness leaflets and banners were distributed across Parulia Bazar and surrounding areas.
