The inauguration ceremony of the 'Onyorokom IT and Computer Training Center' was held in Bishwanath, Sylhet. On Tuesday (October 27) morning, Shah Ahmed Fazle Rabbi BAM, NDC, Deputy Inspector General of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP), Sylhet Range, graced the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the institution at Ahad Mansion on Rampasha Road, Bishwanath New Bazar.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony, he stated that the modern world is driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology.
In this era, equipping the younger generation with technological knowledge and skills is imperative. Beyond institutional education, practical technology training can create new opportunities for employment and self-employment for youths. The Onyorokom IT and Computer Training Center offers training in timely subjects such as basic computer skills, digital marketing, graphic design, and AI technology.
Special guests who spoke at the event included Md. Shah Nawaz Hossain, District Commandant of Ansar and VDP; Momin Khan Munna, mayoral candidate for Bishwanath Pourashava and UK community leader; Fatema Begum, Upazila Ansar and VDP Officer; Koys Shikdar; Kamal Munna; Akhtar Ahmed Shahed; Abdus Salam; and Sujit Dey. Presided over by Hira Mia, entrepreneur and Ansar-VDP member of Onyorokom IT and Computer Training Center, and conducted by Nabin Sohel, the welcome address was delivered by Acting Headmaster Anhar Ali, followed by a concluding prayer led by Maulana Bilal Ahmed.
