SRB-11 has claimed to have recovered a large quantity of firearms, ammunition, domestic weapons, narcotics, and cash during a raid in the Songita Ghoradia area under Narsingdi Sadar Upazila.
The operation was conducted from late Thursday night until morning at the residence of an individual named Sharif Bhuiyan. However, the raiding team reported that the accused, Sharif Bhuiyan, remains at large.
The seized items include one foreign revolver, one locally made pipe gun, and various types of ammunition. Additionally, officers recovered nine local cleavers and daggers, 75 bottles of Scaf syrup, BDT 10,71,000 in cash earned from drug sales, and other related equipment.
ASP Md. Aar Masud Khan of SRB-11 CPSC Narsingdi disclosed these details during a press briefing held at 1:00 PM on Thursday.
He stated that the operation is still ongoing and legal procedures are underway to arrest the fugitive Sharif Bhuiyan.
