A general diary (GD) has been lodged with the Daganbhuiyan Police Station after a brick boundary wall was allegedly constructed by forcibly occupying the sole access path to an ancestral homestead in Momarizpur village under Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni. The victimized family is reportedly living in extreme insecurity following the incident.
According to the police complaint and local sources, Hidayetul Islam, son of Nazir Ahmad Mia of Momarizpur village, has long been looking after and maintaining the homestead and land belonging to his expatriate niece and nephew (Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Safor Uddin Chowdhury, Ayesha Akter, Khodeja Akter, and others). The forcible land occupation and construction occurred around 9:00 AM on November 2, 2026, directly in front of the residential houses of Nasir Uddin Chowdhury's family in the Rahim Ullah Chowdhury House area of Momarizpur.
The primary accused named in the complaint are 1. Anwar Hossain Sohag and 2. Monowar Hossain Chintu (both sons of the late Golam Hossain), along with 4 to 5 unnamed individuals.

Khatian No. 773 of Momarizpur mouza, completely blocking the pathway. With no alternative route to exit the homestead, the family remains trapped and faces immense suffering. When they protested, the accused allegedly threatened them with murder and disappearance.
When contacted, primary accused Anwar Hossain Sohag and Monowar Hossain Chintu refuted the allegations, claiming they did not block anyone's road but were constructing a boundary wall on their own legal and recorded land. They also dismissed the threat allegations as completely baseless and motivated.
Daganbhuiyan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Fayzul Azim Noman stated that a written complaint has been lodged with the station. Police have been dispatched to investigate the matter, and prompt legal steps will be taken upon verifying the land documents of both parties.
