Miscreants broke into the Sri Sri Rai Rasraj Sebashram in Krishnanagar, Pirojpur municipal area, by cutting through the northern window grill on Monday night (October 5, 2026).

Temple-affiliated member Akash Kanta Roy estimated the total loss to be between Taka 40,000 and 50,000. Nirmal Chattopadhyay, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad Pirojpur Sadar branch, expressed concern, noting that the crime likely occurred between 2:30 AM and 3:00 AM, while praising Pirojpur's long-standing tradition of communal harmony and urging a swift police investigation.
