An unfortunate incident took place in Durgapur village under Safapur union of Mahadevpur upazila in Naogaon. An HSC examinee attempted suicide by consuming poison after failing in just a single subject in the HSC examinations.
Fortunately, she was promptly rescued and admitted to the Mahadevpur Upazila Health Complex, where she is currently undergoing treatment and is out of danger.
