Despite passing both the written and viva voce examinations for the government primary school teacher recruitment, Mission Acharya (31) of Jhenaidah has had his appointment suspended due to address verification issues. Although his family has lived in rented accommodation in the Kalabagan area of Ward No. 6 in Jhenaidah town for over four decades and possesses national identity cards registered there, authorities withheld his job letter on the grounds that he lacks own landed property or a permanent home.

Mission Acharya, an alumnus of Islamic University with a master's degree in Finance and Banking, grew up in severe financial hardship raised by a single mother working as a maid. Local residents and family members expressed frustration over his exclusion during the background verification phase despite his academic merit and lifelong residence in the area. Acting District Primary Education Officer Md. Amjad Hossain clarified that the appointment process has been temporarily suspended rather than cancelled, adding that candidate records and land documentation have been forwarded to the department for further review.
