Netrokona: Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal marked its 48th founding anniversary in Purbadhala upazila of Netrokona district with a rally and discussion meeting on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
The programme was organised by the Purbadhala upazila unit of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal to commemorate the organisation’s founding anniversary.
A. S. M. Shahidullah Imran attended the event as the chief guest. He is the member secretary of Purbadhala Upazila BNP, a former member of Netrokona District BNP, a former vice-president and joint general secretary of the central committee of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, and a former president of Shahidullah Hall at the University of Dhaka.
The programme was attended by local BNP and Jubo Dal leaders and activists, led by Firoz Talukdar, joint convener of the Purbadhala Upazila Jubo Dal.
Among those present were Upazila BNP joint conveners Ahmad Ali Sarker, Haji Abdul Gani Talukdar, M. A. Mannan, Sheikh Abdur Rashid and Alhaj Abu Hasan Sohel. Other attendees included Md. Asaduzzaman Dano, Ishtiaq Ahmed Nayan, Apel Mahmud Dollar, Konkon, Jahangir Alam Talukdar, Shahidul Islam Khan, Shahjahan Mia, Md. Delwar Hossain, Md. Naim Khan and Imrul Hasan Abhi.
Also present were Ujjwal Mia, senior vice-president of the upazila Chhatra Dal; Anisuzzaman Talukdar, former president of the college Chhatra Dal; Sanjid Ahmed Promik, vice-president of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) Chhatra Dal; and Rafin Ahmed, member secretary of the college Chhatra Dal, along with leaders and activists of Jubo Dal and its affiliated and associate organisations.
The rally began in front of the Purbadhala Sub-Registrar Office, proceeded through the main streets of Purbadhala Bazar and concluded at the party office in Station Bazar.
During the discussion meeting, speakers highlighted the organisation’s history and called on its leaders and activists to strengthen Jubo Dal’s organisational activities in the coming days.
