A Rohingya youth named Mohammad Hashim (30) was killed and eight others were injured in a head-on collision between two CNG-driven autorickshaws on an internal road inside a Rohingya camp in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, on Saturday morning. According to police and local sources, the accident left a total of nine people—including drivers and passengers—injured.

A special team from the Mainargona Police Camp rushed to the spot, rescued the victims, and transported them to the adjacent MSF Hospital, where Mohammad Hashim succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The deceased Hashim was a resident of Block H/75, Rohingya Camp-17, in Ukhia, and the son of Nur Alam.
