The fourth edition of the "Raipura Marathon 2026" is set to take place on October 9 in Raipura, Narsingdi, jointly organized by the upazila administration and the Raipura Runners Community. Around 1,000 runners from home and abroad will compete across four categories: a 42km full marathon, 21km half race, 10km race, and 1km family race.
In a humanitarian initiative, a portion of the registration fees will be allocated to support the education and healthcare of orphan students through the event's charity partner, Orphan Love Foundation.
Details of the event were announced during a "Meet the Press" briefing at the Raipura Upazila Parishad conference room, addressed by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Masud Rana and Race Director Sabuj Sikder, with Member of Parliament for Narsingdi-5 and Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense President Engineer Md. Ashraf Uddin Bakul attending as the chief guest.
