The meeting was held on Sunday morning (October 4, 2026) at the Pabna Deputy Commissioner's conference room, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Aminul Islam.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized that Durga Puja is one of the principal religious festivals for the Hindu community, and everyone must remain vigilant and responsible to prevent any untoward incidents or disorder.
The administration and law enforcement agencies will take all necessary measures to ensure security at the mandaps and maintain public order, while leaders of the Puja celebration committees were urged to strictly follow government guidelines.
Temple committee leaders, political and social representatives, district administration officials, and law enforcement personnel attended the session.
