
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury MP has issued a strict warning against any irregularities or financial transactions regarding the distribution of Family Cards in Nandail, Mymensingh.
In a statement published on his official Facebook page on Friday afternoon (October 2), the Minister affirmed that immediate and stringent legal action would be taken if anyone is found demanding money or engaging in corrupt practices under the guise of providing Family Cards.
Expressing his faith in the integrity of the people of Nandail, Yasser Khan Choudhury urged all local officials and stakeholders to remain vigilant and ensure that government benefits reach genuinely underprivileged citizens without exploitation. Local representatives and residents welcomed the warning, noting that direct oversight will prevent fraudulent schemes. Nandail Upazila BNP Member Secretary Enamul Kadir supported the statement, reiterating that the State Minister maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding corruption and misdeeds.
