In a special anti-crime drive conducted by the Chandanaish police station from Monday night (October 6, 2026) to Tuesday morning (October 7, 2026), three fugitive accused persons were arrested under the overall guidance of Chattogram District Superintendent of Police Md. Masud Alam, BPM, and the leadership of Chandanaish Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) S.M. Didarul Islam Sikder.
The arrested individuals are Imran Hossain (21), a named accused in Chandanaish police station theft case no. 02/26 (GR-133) from Satbaria Union; Bikash (45), a convicted fugitive absconding for 22 years with an arrest warrant in a 2003 robbery case (Sentence GR-152/03) from Bandarban Sadar Police Station, residing in Bailtali area; and Raihan (28), a warrant-issued accused in a GR case from South Joyara Ward 6.
Officer-in-Charge S.M. Didarul Islam Sikder stated that the arrested accused have been forwarded to the learned court under proper police escort, and such drives to maintain law and order will continue.
