The time for the funeral and cremation of two deceased family members from Nababganj village under Nilganj union in Kalapara upazila, Patuakhali, has been finalized. Their final rites will be performed tomorrow, Sunday (October 25) at 7:00 AM at the residence of Arabindu Biswas.

The deceased are Krishna Rani Biswas (70), wife of Arabindu Biswas, and her younger brother Dr. Asit Baran Biswas (70), a physician. According to family sources, Krishna Rani Biswas passed away due to a stroke at her home in Nababganj village on Friday (October 23) around 12:00 PM. Exactly one hour later, at around 1:00 PM, Dr. Asit Baran Biswas passed away while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital in Dhaka.

As Krishna Rani's daughter, Ratna Biswas, and Dr. Asit Baran's son, Arup Ratan Biswas, were abroad, their funeral could not be held on that day. Following their return from abroad and per the decision of family members, it was decided to hold the joint cremation at their home in Nababganj tomorrow. The matter was confirmed to Daily Best News by Animesh Biswas (Chanchal), the younger son of Arabindu Biswas. Meanwhile, Animesh Biswas has specially requested relatives, neighbors, and well-wishers to attend the funeral rites to pray for the salvation of the departed souls of his mother and uncle.
