Bogura Correspondent: A widow named Roksana Khanum held a press conference at the Bogura Press Club on Monday, accusing former councillor Delowar Hossain Pashari Hiru, Jahurul Islam Khan Sajol, and several others of illegal land grabbing, extortion, and assault. She stated that attackers vandalized her under-construction home in the Khandar area on October 14 and physically assaulted her.
Despite having an approved building design on her legally owned ancestral land and official clearance from the municipal administrator, the suspects repeatedly obstructed work and issued threats. She further alleged that local police have failed to take effective action beyond accepting a written complaint.
