To maintain law and order in Munshiganj district under the strict directives and constant surveillance of the Superintendent of Police, Munshiganj, valiant members of the Munshiganj District Detective Branch (DB) conducted an anti-drug and illegal firearms operation. Through tireless efforts, a team led by SI (Nih.) Muhammad Khairul Bashar of the Munshiganj DB conducted a drive in the Aldi Bazar area on Saturday at around 12:45 PM and arrested Rubel Madbar (41)—son of Hamid Madbar from Sanchapa Madbar Bari in Aldi under Tongibari Upazila—with 50 pieces of Yaba. Legal procedures in this connection are underway.

According to a press release issued by the Munshiganj District Detective Branch, as part of ongoing anti-drug drives under the strict directives of the Superintendent of Police to uphold law and order, another operation was conducted by SI (Nih.) Muhammad Khairul Bashar and his accompanying force on Saturday, October 25, at 3:00 PM. During this drive along the paved road in front of Babul Madbar’s house on Gazi Bari Road in Aldi Bazar, Tongibari Upazila, Rubel Madbar (41)—son of Hamid Madbar of Sanchapa Madbar Bari—was apprehended with 50 pieces of Yaba. The DB office confirmed that legal actions regarding the incident are currently under process.
