A job fair is set to be held in Birampur, Dinajpur—outside the capital, Dhaka. The day-long event will take place on October 27 at the grounds of Birampur Government Degree College.
A total of 73 public and private organizations from across the country—including Walton, Unilever, Square, PRAN-RFL, Jamuna, Bashundhara, and Meghna Group—will participate.
The fair will feature a diverse range of entities, including industrial and corporate firms, banks and financial service providers, pharmaceutical companies, as well as organizations from the agricultural, technological, and educational sectors. A primary objective of the event is to provide job seekers and young people with insights into employment opportunities and to facilitate direct interaction with various organizations.
Participating public and social service-oriented organizations include the District Social Services Office (Dinajpur) and the Department of Women Affairs. Additionally, the venue will host help desks, medical booths, and volunteer stations to assist visitors.
Industrial and corporate participants include Unilever Bangladesh, Square Group, PRAN-RFL, Walton, Jamuna Group, Fresh Group, Bashundhara Group, Bashundhara ABG, Nabil Group, Meghna Group, Kazi Farms, Prasad Group, IFAD Group, Lira Group, Diamond World, Piticon Industries, HA Real Estate, NCR Limited, Technics Professional, Lithium King, and Arnu Jute Mills.
Banks and financial service providers participating in the fair include UCB Bank, City Bank, EBL, Bank Asia, BRAC Bank, Pubali Bank PLC, Nagad, and bKash. Companies from the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors participating in the event include Beximco Pharmaceuticals, Acme Pharmaceuticals, Nuvista Pharmaceuticals, Navana Pharmaceuticals, Incepta Pharmaceuticals, Unimed Unihealth, Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, Chemist Laboratories Limited, Peace Agrovete, and Blessing Agrovete.
Additionally, organizations from the technology, education, and other sectors—such as Bloom Buds Limited, Steadfast Courier, Streamlight, Streamline, Noor Telecom, IT Bits, DishanTech BD, Rainbow, Future Cloud, Commure Bangladesh, Brain Station, and Shikkha 2.0—are also taking part.
Through the stalls set up by these various organizations, job seekers and visitors can learn about the companies' operations, employment prospects, and available job opportunities.
