The publication date for the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results has been officially rescheduled to Saturday, October 31, 2026.
The announcement was made on Tuesday (October 27, 2026) by Syed Akteruzzaman, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. Previously, an official notification issued on October 24 had set the result release date for Thursday, October 29.
The 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations commenced nationwide on July 2. Although written exams were originally scheduled to end on August 8, severe natural disasters disrupted exam schedules under the Chittagong Education Board, necessitating delayed makeup exams. A total of 12,70,583 examinees—comprising both regular and irregular candidates across general education, Madrasah, and Technical boards—took part in this year's examinations.
