Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has shared an invaluable piece of career advice given to him by Shah Rukh Khan long before his acting debut, describing it as the primary guiding principle of his professional life.
In a recent interview, Bachchan recalled how, prior to entering the film industry, he would gather every Sunday at Yash Raj Films head Aditya Chopra's residence for cricket matches alongside Uday Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, and Sikandar Kher, where Shah Rukh Khan joined as a mentor figure. During one such interaction, Abhishek asked SRK which of his own films was his personal favorite. Shah Rukh Khan replied that his favorite film is always the one he is currently working on, emphasizing that if current work is not treated as one's absolute best, there is no reason to pursue it over past achievements. Decades later, the two actors are set to reunite on screen in Siddharth Anand's directorial feature "King", which also marks the big-screen debut of Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana Khan alongside rumored special appearances by Kareena Kapoor Khan. The highly anticipated action thriller is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
