Actress and Director Kusum Sikder Returns to Music After 9 Years With New Song "Probal Ghor"
Actress and singer Kusum Sikder in a still from her newly released original music video "Probal Ghor", marking her return to music after nine years.

Acclaimed actress, model, and director Kusum Sikder has made a much-anticipated return to the music scene after a nine-year hiatus, releasing her brand-new original song titled "Probal Ghor".

The track, along with its official music video, was released on Friday afternoon (October 9, 2026) across the artist's official YouTube channel and verified social media platforms. Written entirely by Kusum Sikder herself, the song features composition and musical arrangement by Mahmud Sani.

The scenic music video was filmed in June at various picturesque locations in Cox’s Bazar under the direction of Nakul Sarkar, featuring model Shah Russel alongside the artist. Reflecting on the delayed release, Kusum shared that she penned the lyrics during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but long commitments toward filmmaking—including her directorial debut Shoroter Joba—kept her occupied.

Responding to continuous requests from fans reminiscing about her 2017 track "Nesha," she finally brought the project to light. Describing her artistic identity, Kusum noted, "Music is my love, and acting is my profession." Alongside her musical release, she is currently finalizing the script for her second feature film as a director, with shooting expected to commence in early 2027.
