Dhallywood actress Nusraat Faria created a stir on Saturday (October 10, 2026) after dramatically leaving the shooting set of her upcoming film Lojja in Uttara's Diabari, avoiding scheduled interviews with assembled entertainment journalists.
The situation unfolded after Jaaz Multimedia proprietor Abdul Aziz invited reporters and camera crews to the set at 8:00 AM on Friday evening, promising media interactions with Faria and the production team. Upon arrival, journalists were initially involved in filming a scene for the movie directed by M H Khokon. However, when the time came for the arranged press interviews, Faria abruptly left the location, citing sudden stomach illness, despite having actively shot scenes earlier in the morning. Expressing frustration over the incident, journalists faced a counter-statement from Faria, who advised media professionals to verify whether artists have personally consented to press calls before attending sets. Producer Abdul Aziz later expressed regret over the misunderstanding, noting that inviting journalists during production is standard industry practice and admitting he had not explicitly sought Faria's prior clearance. Jointly produced by Jaaz Multimedia and Impress Telefilm, Lojja also stars Azmeri Haque Badhon alongside Faria.
