Renowned Bangladeshi actress Sohana Saba celebrated her birthday surrounded by warm wishes from fans and well-wishers, taking to social media to share an intimate reflection on life, her artistic roots, personal values, and her regret of not being able to freely travel the world.
In an emotional Facebook post, Saba expressed how her birthday remains her favorite day of the year, though accompanied by the bittersweet realization of another year passing by. She revealed how her relationship with her birthday has evolved over time—from phases when personal turmoil made her retreat from public greetings, to now warmly embracing the unconditional love, praises, and blessings from friends and stranger fans alike.
Reflecting on her artistic journey, Saba credited her mother for fostering her cultural upbringing. She trained in classical dance for 14 years at prestigious institutions like the Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA) and Chhayanaut. Her stage dance performances eventually opened doors to television commercials and dramas, leading to her film debut in Kabori’s Ayna, with Morshedul Islam’s acclaimed film Khelaghor marking her first official theatrical release.
