One of Bangladesh television's most celebrated on-screen couples, Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, are set to star together on the silver screen in the upcoming feature film Pulsirat, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vicky Zahed.

The project gained fresh momentum on Monday evening (October 5, 2026) after producer Shahriar Shakil shared a photograph alongside Nisho and Mehazabien, signaling the formal locking of the lead cast. Produced under the banner of SVF Alpha-i Entertainment Limited, Pulsirat enters its final pre-production phase with principal photography scheduled to commence in early January 2027. Production insiders revealed that shooting will be completed in a single continuous schedule over one month, followed by post-production in February, aiming for a nationwide theatrical release during Eid-ul-Fitr in March 2027. The film will also mark director Vicky Zahed's feature film directorial debut, following his successful collaborations with the duo on acclaimed OTT and television projects such as Punorjonmo, Chorki's Redrum, and Chirokal Aaj.
