Director Rajkumar Periasamy (Amaran) recently unveiled the first-look video and poster for Sai Pallavi's character, introducing her as Nithya Reddy IPS. In the film, she portrays an intense Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer tasked with uncovering a complex, high-stakes illegal red sanders smuggling syndicate. Hailing from Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district, Nithya's character is driven by a deep emotional connection to the forests, carrying the legacy of her forest-officer father who sacrificed his life protecting the timberlands.

The project marks the long-awaited silver-screen reunion of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, whose viral chemistry in the hit song Rowdy Baby from Maari 2 remains legendary among moviegoers. Joining them is Malayalam cinema megastar Mammootty, alongside Sreeleela and Naseeruddin Shah. Originally scheduled for release on October 16, the makers deferred the date to November 20, 2026, out of professional courtesy to avoid a box-office clash with Rajinikanth's Jailer 2.
