Md. Sakil Ahmed (Shakil), an officer of the Bangladesh Navy and a proud son of Paharchanda in Baraitali Union under Chakaria Upazila, Cox's Bazar, has passed away due to dengue fever. Family sources confirmed that he breathed his last on Sunday (October 11) while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

The deceased, Sakil Ahmed, was the youngest son of artisan Gias Uddin from Sabuj Para in the Paharchanda area of Chakaria Upazila. He served as an officer in the Bangladesh Navy. It was also learned that Sakil was a 2021 Dakhil examinee from Paharchanda Fazil Madrasah.

The premature death of young Sakil, who was actively serving the nation as a naval officer, has cast a deep pall of gloom over his family, relatives, friends, and local residents. A solemn and mournful atmosphere prevails across the area following his passing.

His family had built many dreams around Sakil, harboring high hopes for his career and future. However, his abrupt demise from dengue has left his family and loved ones entirely grief-stricken.
