This brings the overall number of dengue admissions this year to 97,082. The latest victims include two men and two women. Demographic data from DGHS indicates that women account for 51.9% of total deaths, while men account for 48.1%. Following a sharp surge beginning in July (36 deaths) and August (43 deaths), mortality peaked in September with 148 fatalities, while October has already recorded 54 deaths within its first ten days.
