Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited (BOESL) and the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment have selected 300 candidates through a transparent electronic lottery for overseas employment in Malaysia at zero migration cost.

The digital lottery process concluded at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2026, following an online application window opened on November 6. A total of 4,029 job seekers submitted online applications, from which 300 candidates were shortlisted—comprising 200 Operations Assistants and 100 Technical Skill Workers.

The shortlisted 300 candidates will undergo practical and oral evaluations conducted directly by representatives of the hiring employer, DHL Supply Chain. Following testing, 112 final workers will be deployed to Malaysia with all migration expenses—including airfare and medical tests—fully borne by the employer. BOESL Managing Director Mohammad Rashedul Huq noted that worker flights will commence in the first week of December 2026, marking the first time government recruitment for Malaysia has utilized a digital lottery. Acting Expatriates' Welfare Secretary Ahmadul Huq stated this aligns with the government's target to export 1 crore manpower over 5 years. BOESL has also secured demand notes for an additional 558 zero-cost positions across Malaysia's tourism, manufacturing, and caregiving sectors.
