Owner interests will be represented by BGMEA Director A.B.M. Shamsuddin and Bangladesh Employers' Federation (BEF) Joint Secretary-General Asif Ayub. Worker interests will be represented by Bangladesh Garments and Industrial Workers Federation (BGIWF) General Secretary Babul Akhter and Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Shromik Dal President Anwar Hossain. Minister Ariful Haque Choudhury stated that the board will convene its maiden meeting swiftly to evaluate inflation, living costs, and industry capacity, appealing to garment workers to withdraw street demonstrations and return to their workplaces.
