Government Working to Ensure Employment Upon Graduation, Says State Minister Sultan Salauddin Tuku
State Minister Sultan Salauddin Tuku speaking with media representatives following the university job fair opening.

State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock and Member of Parliament for Tangail-5, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, declared that the government is actively working to establish an economic environment where students can secure employment immediately upon completing their academic life.

He made these remarks on Tuesday afternoon (October 27, 2026) while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the Career and Job Fair 2026, organized on the occasion of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) Day at Santosh in Tangail.

Addressing students and journalists, the State Minister praised job fairs as noble initiatives that bridge the gap between academia and industry. He emphasized that by transforming the nation's 200 million people into a skilled workforce, Bangladesh can elevate itself to one of the world's leading nations. Tuku noted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is working continuously to foster a self-reliant economy and urged every citizen to fulfill their respective responsibilities. Furthermore, he alerted the public against conspiracies by ousted fascist forces seeking to destabilize national peace, while directing student leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) to remain organized and vigilant against all anti-democratic elements.
