To implement electoral manifesto commitments, the Islamic Foundation is organizing a nationwide Quranic talent search titled the 'Nutun Kuri National Hifzul Quran Competition'. A total prize pool of Tk 13.5 lakh has been allocated for the top nine national winners across three distinct age and memorization groups.

According to an official press release issued by the Islamic Foundation's Public Relations Branch on Sunday (October 18, 2026), the multi-tier competition will begin at the upazila level, progressing through district and divisional rounds before culminating in the national grand finals. The competition is divided into three groups: Group A (under 12 years, memorizing 10 Paras with Tajweed), Group B (under 15 years, 20 Paras), and Group C (under 18 years, the complete 30 Paras).

At the national level, the first-place winner in each group will receive Tk 2 lakh, the second-place runner-up Tk 1.5 lakh, and the third-place winner Tk 1 lakh, alongside crests and certificates. Divisional and district level winners will also receive cash prizes. Registration will remain open throughout November at all district and upazila offices of the Islamic Foundation. Upazila rounds kick off on December 1, 2026, with the national final scheduled for April 2027. A maximum of five contestants per educational institution are permitted in each group.
