The President shared these remarks on Monday (October 26, 2026) while interacting with a visiting student delegation from Motijheel Ideal School and College at Bangabhaban. The visit represented the inaugural execution of the newly promulgated "Bangabhaban Student Tour Policy 2026." Led by Principal Professor Lal Mohammad, selected top-performing students from Class 7 to 9 along with senior faculty toured the historic presidential grounds before engaging in a dialogue and photo session with the President at Darbar Hall.
Addressing the students, President Mirza Fakhrul emphasized the importance of showing deep respect to parents, teachers, and elders, and recognizing parental sacrifices in shaping their lives. He called upon the youth to develop themselves as educated and ethical citizens while pursuing mastery in science, technology, and modern innovation. Emphasizing that Bangabhaban is a symbol of statehood and history, the President announced that student groups from institutions across Bangladesh will visit Bangabhaban in phases to spark civic awareness and interest in national governance.
