Postponed Youth Development Recruitment Test Rescheduled for October 16 Following Question Leak
Official press notification released by the Department of Youth Development announcing the rescheduled test date for Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer on October 16.

The Department of Youth Development has officially rescheduled the preliminary recruitment examination for the post of Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer to Friday, October 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM, following its sudden cancellation earlier today over question paper leak allegations.

The examination was originally scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday (October 10, 2026), with all logistical preparations finalized by the authority. However, after alleged question papers surfaced across social media platforms shortly before the scheduled start time, officials suspended the exam to maintain integrity.

In a official press release, the Department confirmed the new test date and noted that candidates will receive necessary instructions and venue details via SMS. Meanwhile, the 5-member high-level probe committee constituted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by an Additional Secretary, has commenced its investigation with instructions to submit a full report within three working days. The Department emphasized that exemplary legal and disciplinary action will be taken against all perpetrators upon receiving the committee’s findings.
