The Department of Youth Development building in Dhaka as the Ministry of Youth and Sports launches a high-level probe into the recruitment exam question paper leak on Saturday.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially canceled the Grade-11 Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer recruitment examination following widespread question paper leak allegations and constituted a five-member investigation committee to probe the incident.

An official office order issued by the Youth-1 branch of the ministry on Saturday (October 10, 2026) confirmed the cancellation of the test, which was scheduled to take place across nearly 100 centers in Dhaka for 242 vacant positions. The probe panel is headed by the Additional Secretary (Administration Division) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the Deputy Secretary (Administration Branch) serving as member-secretary.

Other members include a Joint Secretary from the ministry's Finance and Performance Management Branch, a Joint Secretary representative from the Ministry of Public Administration, and the Director (Seed Financing) of the Department of Youth Development. The committee has been mandated to record statements from recruitment committee members, officials involved in printing and distribution, and external aides, and must submit its findings within three working days.
